General Rules
- Everyone with a tag (
for patrons,
for staff) are roleplaying. Unless you have a roleplaying tag we won't interact much with you and if we do so it'll be Out Of Character.
- If you're sporting a
tag we won't bother you and let you enjoy the space at your leasure. If you choose to interact with the staff they'll answer in kind.
- Wear an appropriate outfit to the café. The minimum we'll let you wear is a short or skirt and a closed top.
- Minions and weapons are prohibited inside.
- For ease of reading, limit your use of auto written emote. To hide the actions of auto-emotes go to the emote window and uncheck the box on the bottom right.
You can also write (without the quote marks) "/emotelog" in the chat it toggles it on and off.
- We condone any discriminatory speech. If you have something derogatory to say about the LBTG+ community, other people's skin color and ethnicity or diverse beliefs you're not welcome and will be blacklisted.
- In accordance to the previous rule : respect other patrons as well as the staff and remember : we're playing characters.
Roleplay Rules
- Keep character and person separate. We understand sometime you as a character might not like someone else's character. It doesn't mean the dislike of the person behind the character should be genuine too.
- We understand a lot of the time people will see certain races as caricatures and will use a "meme language" to refer to them (cat, long neck, lion, popoto...) or in some cases portrait them as kids. Please refrain to do so. If you're unsure about the age of a character ask the player. If not said outright everyone should be respected and not talked down to.
Tips and tricks
(Following those tips makes it easier for the roleplayers to identify some things)
- use "” To show what your character's saying
- use /em to create a personalized emote to act. Be aware that this will write your character’s name BEFORE what you’re writing every time.
- In case of your character Talking, Acting and then Talking again unless your message is very long feel free to do everything in a single message as shown :
- It works in Acting, Talking and Acting again way too.
- use () To talk Out Of Character (when you’re not roleplaying but talking as yourself).
Any combinaisons and number of (, ), [ or ] is seen as perfectly okay to use.
